Hi, I'm Carey Sobel.

I’m an Orlando-based entrepreneur with foundations built in marketing, creative problem solving, and business development. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats — owner, investor, advisor — and I’ve had the opportunity to work across multiple industries helping people grow and sell their businesses.

I’m a Partner and Business Intermediary at Boss Group International, an M&A firm where I help clients buy and sell businesses in both the main street and lower-to-middle market segments. I hold certifications as a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), Certified M&A Professional (CM&AP), and Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI), with over $70M in completed business transactions to date. I’m proud to be consistently recognized as one of Florida’s top business brokers by the Business Brokers of Florida.

I also serve as the Chief Acquisition Officer at Coastal Investment Company, a private equity firm specializing in institutional real estate and venture capital investment opportunities. I handle our clients M&A activity, from exit planning to growth consulting. Additionally, my role centers on elevating the brand, reaching new investors, and distributing impactful, strategic content.

Previously, I was the co-owner and Chief Strategy Officer of an award-winning marketing firm that grew from $100K to over $12M in revenue during my tenure. We had the privilege of working with brands like Disney, Estee Lauder, L3Harris, AdventHealth, and Tavistock before I successfully sold my equity in the company (in Q1 of 2024).

I’ve been fortunate to receive several honors throughout my career, including being named a 40 Under 40 by the Orlando Business Journal and a 30 Under 30 by the University of Central Florida. I also received the inaugural Young Alumni Award and the Entrepreneurial Alumni Award from the UCF College of Business. Today, I continue to give back by serving on the UCF Alumni Board, previously chairing the College of Business Alumni Board, and mentoring students and young professionals.
